Meet our team

Duncan and Sapphire are our lead aquarists, with close to four decades of experience in ornamental aquaria and aquaculture between them both, and have worked together for the past ten years. With Sapphire’s eye for creative planning, and Duncan’s background in biology and ecology, they have worked together to design and maintain some of the most captivating private saltwater reef aquariums worldwide.

With Sapphire writing for leading publications such as Ultramarine Magazine, and Duncan consulting on some of the most famous reef aquaria in the UK and beyond, their knowledge is unsurpassed. Now working on a more global scale, they are looking to expand into sharing their aquaculture knowledge through consultancy, with marine conservation and repopulation of reefs of particular interest.

If you would like to speak to either directly, please feel free to email Sapphire or Duncan personally. Each large-scale project undertaken by us as a company will involve either Sapphire or Duncan as the lead aquarist, so you will get to know them even better whilst they work with you.
